RED VEIN reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. You’ll experience intense audio and lighting, extreme low visibility, strobe lights, fog, damp or wet conditions, and a physically demanding environment. You should not participate if you’re pregnant, have claustrophobia, prone to seizures, and have heart or respiratory problems. You’ll not be admitted if you appear intoxicated or if you threaten to touch an actor or crew member. Security will also remove you from the attraction if you touch an actor or any prop/set piece. Absolutely no flash photography or videography allowed inside the attraction. There are no refunds! Enter at your own risk!

WARNING AND DISCLAIMER!
Your health is our top priority, and we’ve put special measures in place to keep all guests safe both during and after your experience. By visiting this attraction, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
*** Masks are recommended, but only required if not vaccinated
All customers, cast, and crew are required to wear a mask if they are not vaccinated, as per the state guidelines for operation.
*** Outdoor Queues
Our lines have been expanded and widened to allow greater space between groups while waiting in the autumn air.
*** Contactless Transactions
In addition to timed ticketing, online ticket sales are strongly encouraged to limit in-person contact and speed up the lines at the box office.
*** Stringent Cleaning
We’ve increased the frequency of disinfecting surfaces and high touch points throughout the night. Hand sanitizer stations will be available to all of our guests at all queues, checkpoints and portajohns.
While we’re committed to enhanced safety standards to keep you and our staff as safe and healthy as possible, there remains an elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place. In order for all of us to safely celebrate Halloween, please be sure that neither yourself nor family members are ill or feel as if they’re becoming ill prior to purchasing your tickets as All Sales Are Final. Thank you so much for your loyal dedication and support during these times, and we’re passionate in doing our part to open safely and ensure Halloween stays alive and well in our community. We remain steadfast to staff and guest safety and excited to show everyone what we’ve been working on all year long. Scare you soon!
Without a doubt.
We very much design the attraction to scare adults, so parental discretion is advised. We do not recommend children under 13 go through without a parent or guardian. Remember, there are no refunds. If you’ve purchased a ticket and you or your child realize you’re too scared to continue even while waiting in line, then we’ve already accomplished our job, albeit sooner than expected.
While we continuously push the boundaries for a truly immersive experience, during our normal operating nights you will not be intentionally grabbed, pulled, or touched inappropriately. Keep in mind you’re entering into an attraction with highly trained and skilled actors, but you’re also in a very confined space and dark environment designed to scare you. Gentle brushing or accidental bumps should be expected. However, if you intentionally touch any of our monsters, crew members, or any of the props/set pieces, you’ll be immediately removed by security. This goes along with threatening to do harm, too. Don’t be that person! We all want to have fun and get scared. It’s Halloween!
Yes, you can buy tickets onsite, as well as online. The box office opens at 7pm and closes at 10pm or 11pm, depending on the night. Our ticket page has all that information and more.
If you’ve purchased tickets before the box office has closed, RED VEIN stays open until all patrons have gone through the attractions.
Yes, tickets bought online are good for any evening we are open for the season. If you can’t make the evening you purchased tickets or there is a weather cancellation, you’ll need to contact us to change your time slot to another evening.
Timed Ticketing is our way of saving you hours waiting in our General Admission line. If you have a 9PM ticket and it’s 7PM there’s no reason to be standing in line for 2 hours while you could be enjoying the other activities on the farm. That’s one benefit of timed ticketing. When it’s your time, you’ll be allowed to get in line at the haunt queue, which begins your terrifying journey to RED VEIN. Step 1) Determine what night you’re visiting. Step 2) Click the chosen date. Step 3) Select the time you would like to get in line. Step 4) Purchase your tickets. It’s just that easy!
Hanover Vegetable Farm has an event barn which will have our vendors, bands, food trucks, and other special activities. This is beside the haunt pathway, which takes you to RED VEIN. Each ticket allows visitors to enter within a specific half hour window. The half hour entry window BEGINS at the time listed on the ticket. We highly suggest purchasing online as tickets are limited to reduce wait times.
After purchasing or picking up your wristband at the box office, you’ll make your way to Hanover Vegetable Farm’s event barn, which is where you’ll see our food truck, entertainment, vendors for the evening, as well as the entrance pathway to RED VEIN. Your wristband gets you into 4 attractions… our indoor asylum, outdoor corn maze, outdoor woods trail, and indoor haunted house. Visit the attractions page for specific details. We’ll have our 3 minute escape room available in our gift shop, which is after you exit the haunted house. The escape room is $5 per person and not included in your admission, as it’s first come, first serve (limited space available).
Yes, there are discounted rates for groups of 25 or more. Please e-mail us in advance to discuss pricing.
Be prepared for all types of weather and being outside in the elements. October is traditionally cool, so dress accordingly, which includes wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Sometimes if it’s a particularly wet October, trails can be muddy.
After the box office and making your way down to our entertainment barn, you’ll walk the pathway to the main haunt entrance, where you’ll then get in line to enter the attraction. The line size/wait time completely depends how busy we are. We have timed ticketing to reduce wait times for General Admission. We also have a VIP “skip the line” option, which slashes your wait time in half at the main haunt queue.
Inside the asylum and haunted house, groups will be no more than 4 or 5 people. In the corn maze and woods, groups will be around 6-8 people. As you make your way through the attractions, we separate groups sporadically. Be prepared for anything. This is non-negotiable and trust us, part of the enjoyment of the show.
Your wait time will vary based on what time and night you arrive. We have smaller crowds earlier in the season, and on nights that aren’t Fridays or Saturdays. Arrive early in the evening if you don’t want to wait in a long line. Even if you’re waiting in line, we work hard to keep you entertained from the moment you enter the gates until the moment you walk back to your car. As far as how long it takes to go through the attraction… well, how fast can you run? These are things best left to the experience.
Flashes and cell phone lights ruin the show that you and others paid to see, and also pose a safety hazard and can spoil the scares for future guests. Do not under any circumstances use your phone or take flash photos or video while inside our attraction. Security reserves the right to remove you from the show for repeated violations. Do your tiktoks before or after the haunt!
No smoking or vaping, and especially no lighters. No alcohol. No weapons. No food or beverages inside the attraction. No costumes or full face Halloween masks. If you’re not vaccinated, please wear a face mask over our mouth/nose, per our COVID-19 policy. Our rules are for your safety. You’ll be asked to leave if you choose to ignore our rules.
If the weather is bad, we’ll make the call to stay open or close by 6pm on show nights. Please check our social media pages for updates.
There is no charge for parking. You’ll park in the large field directly off Ashland Road in front of Hanover Vegetable Farm. Just follow the signs. Please see our directions page for a map.
Yes. You may be exposed to or come in contact with: blood, claustrophobia, crawling, electrical shock, fog, foul scents, gore, liquids, loud noises, moving floors, and strobe lights.
Tsk, tsk, no spoilers.
